While Twitter is the new "hot" thing right now, if a company must lean toward social media I still think blogging is the way to go.  And although there have been recent rumblings that blogging is losing its steam, I'm not sure I agree.  A recent article about the growing demand for &lt;a href="http://www.odesk.com/blog/2009/04/top-100-freelance-blogs/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" title="http://www.odesk.com/blog/2009/04/top-100-freelance-blogs/"&gt;freelance writing&lt;/a&gt; indicates that it's really a good time to be a writer.
