Copy Diva;
Great post! Those are some fine suggestions.
As a white paper writer, I find myself doing some of these poor writing habits.

Love this, and excerpted it over on my blog CoachEzines.com. Not sure where to find your trackback url to let you know...

Hi Patsi,
Thanks. The trackback is live now, though how you have it is fine too.

Hi Mike,
I think every writer falls into that sometimes. It's just good to have a reminder now and then.
Thanks for the comments-

You're right about the use of the word "solution". It's an over-used term, right up there with:
- "Time to Market" -"Challenges" (versus Problems) - "Best Practices" -"Proof of Concept"

Oh Jonathan,
Don't get me started, there are just too many. Ones I see all the time:
- best of breed - end-to-end (with solution --- argh!!) - enable (my least favorite verb)

Robin - Forget to mention on my first post that I posted a blurb about you on my blog. You know how this all works. I see some of my friends stopped by and commented.

This is a great list -- thanks for posting it. Worth sticking up on the wall as a reminder.
